Marketing and Social Media Intern

Summary of Position

The objective of this role is to act as second in command to the content strategist, executing marketing and social media objectives for the company. This person will have experience in social media content creation and general marketing knowledge. You must receive college course credit for this internship as it is an unpaid position.

List of Responsibilities

You will be responsible for

  • Assisting with ideation and research for upcoming marketing campaigns
  • Creating content for multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter) and email marketing campaigns
  • Setting objectives and goals for marketing efforts-Completing competitive marketing analysis
  • Creating digital graphics to be shared across platforms
  • Analyzing sales data in relation to marketing and social media efforts
  • Providing creative input on web presence and aesthetic appeal across platforms

List of Job Requirements

You must have

  • Prior experience working in a retail or marketing environment
  • Social media content creation experience
  • Proficiency using digital graphic software such as the Adobe Suite and Canva
  • Photography skills are a bonus
  • You must be able to work a full time schedule (40hrs a week)
