PeppermintTime to freshen up your senses? Peppermint doesn’t just smell minty fresh, it actually can help refresh your mind. Naturally stimulating, peppermint can boost mood and promote energy. If you feel unmotivated, peppermint is a great oil to use.

Rosemary – Rosemary has many superpowers, one of which is the ability to positively affect the autonomic nervous system. If your bad mood or low energy is keeping you from focusing, rosemary can also help promote focus and improve memory.

How to Use Essential Oil to Uplift Mood

There are many ways to benefit from the uplifting properties of essential oils. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Diffuse! Diffuse! Diffuse! The classic way to get the benefits of aromatherapy is with a diffuser! You can add any combination of essential oils that are uplifting to your diffuser whenever you need a boost. For most standard-sized diffusers – such as our stone diffuser – you should aim for about 5-15 drops of essential oils, depending on how strong you want the aroma to be.

  • Use with your diffusing jewelry and keychains – Want to add aromatherapy to your daily look? That’s why we created our diffusing jewelry! Add a drop of two of any uplifting essential oils to your bracelet or keychain and take good vibes with you wherever you go! Each piece of our diffusing jewelry is handcrafted by a trafficking survivor – so you can uplift lives as you uplift your mood!

  • Add to hand creams or body lotions – Add 2-5 drops of any essential oils that are uplifting to your hand cream or body lotion. Mild or unscented products work best for this so that you can fully benefit from the aroma of essential oils.

  • Enjoy in the bath or shower – Add uplifting essential oils to your bathing routine with DIY shower steamers or aromatherapy sachets
