All about dignity

During her field work, Dr. Vanessa Bouché, award-winning anti-trafficking scholar and social entrepreneur, encountered a woman stuck in a cycle of exploitation since she was 13. When asked what she needed, she said, "I need dignified employment to get out of this dirty business."

Savhera was launched to provide dignified employment to this woman and others like her. Trafficked women need a safe job to help them grow and thrive. Savhera exists to be that safe place, where the cycle of abuse ends and a "new beginning" dawns, where women can experience the essence of restorative wellness and begin to live the life they always deserved.
