Are Essential Oils Tested on Animals?

a cute bunny and script that reads "cruelty-free wellness"

One of the many good things about essential oils is that, in theory, they are 100% plant-based, vegan, and cruelty-free. However, this isn’t always the case when it comes to many products out there. Some products sold as “essential oils” contain fillers, synthetics, or other added ingredients that might not be vegan or cruelty-free. Additionally, some companies might test their essential oil products on animals.

At Savhera, we’re committed to only selling pure essential oils with no added ingredients. That means that our essential oils are 100% vegan because they only contain natural botanicals! And we never test any of our products on animals.

No Animal Testing, But We DO Test Our Essential Oils for Purity!

And when we promise to only sell pure essential oils, we back that promise up. We send each and every batch of our essential oils out for rigorous testing by third-party labs. We use a process called GC/MS testing, which is known as one of the most thorough testing processes available for essential oils. All of our test results are available on our website so that our customers can see for themselves exactly what they’re buying and incorporating into their wellness routines. You can find test results on the product page for each essential oil, under “test reports.”

Making sure that you’re only buying 100% pure essential oils helps ensure that no animals were harmed in the making of your essential oils. But pure essential oils aren’t just better for the animals, they’re also better for you and the environment!

Some fillers, additives, and synthetics used in many oil and aromatherapy products are harmful to your health. They can also harm the environment. That’s why we also only sell USDA-certified organic essential oils.

Wellness for All!

We believe in wellness for all! For that reason, we make sure that our products promote wellness for you, other people, animals, and the planet.
