Recipe for a Cooling Facial Spray
Add 1 cup distilled or mineral water and 5-10 drops of organic essential oil to a small, opaque spray bottle. Shake and spritz! Keeps for about 1-2 weeks in the refrigerator and 24 hours outside the fridge.
Recipe Modifications:
- For an extra nourishing facial spray, use skin-boosting teas. Replace the water with tea that has steeped for one hour using 1 cup of water and 1 tea bag. Make sure to cool the tea completely. Chamomile tea is extra soothing and green tea contains skin healthy antioxidants.
- If you have oily or acne-prone skin, add some witch hazel to your facial spray. Fill your bottle about ¾ of the way with water and top with witch hazel.
