Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup Castile soap
- 1 tablespoon water (use distilled water if you’re planning to store your cleaning scrub for more than a few days) or white vinegar
- 5 drops each of lemon, peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils for a bright and fresh scent. You can also include tea tree oil for antibacterial and fungus-fighting properties.
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together well. You should get a paste-like consistency. Store in an airtight container.
To use, spread the paste onto grimy tile, grout, tubs, or sinks. Let sit for 5-10 minutes. If you have some extra tough grime or stains, let it sit for 20 minutes! Then scrub with a sponge or microfiber cloth and rinse away.
You can also scoop a little bit into a toilet bowl and use a toilet brush to clean as you would with a normal toilet cleaner.
