Making Your DIY Garbage Disposal Cleaner

It's no secret that garbage disposals in our sink can get stinky! They work hard to grind down our food waste to keep our kitchen running smoothly. Show them some love and by freshening them with these easy DIY Cleaning Tablets

DIY Garbage Disposal Tablet Ingredients

- 2 cups of baking soda

- 1 cup of salt

- 1/3 cup of dish soap

- 20 drops of Savhera Essential Oil

- water

Steps

In a large mixing bowl, combine the baking soda and salt. Then add the dish soap and essential oils. Once combined, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until the texture resembles wet sand. Pack mixture into a measuring spoon (1 tablespoon works well) or silicone molds and remove them onto a baking sheet. Let the mixture air dry for at least 24 hours.

To use, add one or two of the cleaners to your garbage disposal, run faucet water, and turn the garbage disposal on for one to two minutes. Store any unused cleaners in a sealed container and use when your garbage disposal's scent begins to act up again.
